Research
Research covers the work you do inside tiCrypt every day: storing and sharing encrypted files in the Vault, launching virtual machines to analyse them, attaching encrypted drives, and submitting batch jobs to Slurm.
tiCrypt separates where data rests from where data is computed on. The Vault holds encrypted files that only you and the people you share with can decrypt. Virtual machines are disposable compute environments that reset on every restart. Encrypted drives are what carry state between the two. Almost everything in this section is an instance of moving data between those three places.
Research contains the following functionality
- Account & Settings: manage your profile, password, session settings, and view your team's resource usage.
- Vault: create, upload, download, share, and organise encrypted files, and manage users, groups, and projects.
- Virtual Machines: build VM configurations, launch and connect to instances, attach encrypted drives, open terminals, and submit Slurm jobs.
